We had a great day sitting in the lee of an island and catching BIG yellowtail. This is our final day of fishing and a great way to finish off the trip. Thanks to Seeker rods for putting together such a great group of anglers, the give aways and trophys. Big Fish Happen,
Bruce A. Smith

It was consistant action on yellowtail in the 12 to 20 pound class. The weather is hot and glasssy, which is really nice considering how cold the whole offshore scene has been this year. We tried a varitey of spots and found yellowtail on most of them. Pictured today is Paul "energizer bunny" Backes with one of the bigger yellows of the day and Joe Pfister(President of Seeker rods) showing off how the new Hercules rod bends.
We made down to the "Rocks" around 10:30. After trolling around and picking up a few wahoo we got the anchor down and proceeded to pick at the yellowfin tuna, wahoo, yellowtail and occasional amberjack. The tuna are good grade with most coming in between 50 and 70 pounds. Roy Casey did a number on the fish using a Seeker Hercules(SHS 70H) an Avet SX with a short top shot of 40 pound. Hopefully in the coming days we will be able to put these new exciting rods to the test. So far, so good.
