FIRST ALBACORE OF THE YEAR (010209)
Written by Royal Polaris

Hello everyone;

Our weather is excellent, with overcast skies, and a bit chilly, but it's perfect for moving south. Roy gave a seminar this morning, then the crew went to work. Everyone was busy making leader's and getting the gear ready for battle. Taka had a gift bag for all aboard, and a few larger prizes for raffle (a few reels, a rod, and lot's of fluorocarbon).

While everyone was getting there gear ready, we had a few lines in the water trolling. After a few stops on Bonita, we did manage to catch an Albacore. Roy made a few drifts for some Red Rock Cod, and then it was back on the road south. It was a very busy day. On that note, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew (Roy, Dharyl, Aaron, Cole, Rafael, Eddie, Jim, and Anthony).
