SLUG WAHOO!!

SLUG WAHOO!!SLUG WAHOO!!

We finished up in true INTREPID STYLE today.. Big YellowfinTuna started showing up around 8:30am and we stayed busy on the large TUNA until after lunch. At 3pm we pulled the hook and started looking around for some Skinnies and not only did we find some, but we found some SLUGS.. A small pocket, or wolf pack, as we like to call them, of big Wahoo gave us some evening action that just tops off an already made EPIC 8 day fall trip! We are loaded and heavy as we make our way northbound. This has been an all out, non-stop, action packed trip. We all need a break after these last 4 days, passengers and crew alike. Enjoy the photos

JUMBO BISCUIT

We picked the right place to anchor up last night, as it was fun catching a nice variety of game fish. We had some Grouper, of coarse more Yellows, Dorado, and a couple of White Sea bass. One White Sea bass was a Huge 61lber weighed on the boat scale. This fish was one of the fattest Sea bass we have seen and the biggest we have caught this year. Lucky angler was Joshua Kaneko of Berkley. Then sunrise came and the catching started. WFO on Tuna in the 20-45lb range. The Tuna went absolutely nuts, in the mix was more Yellows and a couple of Dorado. This was an all out frenzy with every bait getting hit within seconds of hitting the water. We stopped the mayhem around 11am as we need to leave room for some larger models. Two days, actually a day and a half, and our anglers are ready for a break. Sore, tired, and content with a huge load of fish on-board already. Off to catch some big-uns.. Wish us luck

We made it to the Rocks at 0830 this morning and looked around a bit to locate some life to set down on. It wasn't long before we found a few Tuna, so we set up and began fishing around 9am. Things looked pretty good at first as we caught a few nice grade Yellowfin in the 70-100lb class and a Jumbo Yellowtail before noon. After lunch things were very slow and we only had a fish here and there for the rest of the day. We ended up scratching away for 31 mixed fish. We will move inside a little tonight and try for some night bite yellows. Wish us luck The Intrepid Team

Sonar school pays big dividends for our Bloody-Decks.com anglers. We had a 5 hour drift for 180 mixed Bluefin and Albacore this afternoon. The fish are in the 20-40lb range along with some nice yellows thrown in. For our first day of fishing on this 3 day trip, we are stoked! The signs of life in this area looks very good for up-coming trips as we saw Breezers, Flat spots, and several Sonar schools before getting on the "Right One" that we were looking for. The first bite was fast and furious as everyone was hooked up instantly!! We will be making a short move tonight before shutting down and getting ready for tomorrows action.

Wish us luck "The Intrepid Team"
