Royal Polaris

Red Cup Navy (110109)

Hello everyone;

We departed Fisherman's landing at 10:00 hours, then we headed to the bait receivers. We loaded our bait and now we are headed for points south. We have a good load of bait and we all have high hops on what the next 10 days will bring.

This is the first year for the Red Cup Navy charter, but most of the anglers have fished with us in the past. Billy Santiago will be at the helm this trip, so with that note, wish us the best. We will keep you updated on our daily events. The R/p crew (Billy, Dharyl, Aaron, Eddie, Cole, Chris, James, and Brett)

nice finish (Hello Everyone,
Today we focused our efforts on Yellowtail fishing. We bounced around a couple of different spots and put together a nice day on the yellows. As a nice bonus we released a few nice 100lb plus black sea-bass, and lucky angler Bob Brister landed a beautiful 50lb plus white sea-bass. We will be traveling toward home all day tomorrow and we will be sure to send an updated ETA for fisherman's landing tomorrow.

another nice day

another nice dayHello Everyone,
We enjoyed another fun day of Wahoo and tuna fishing again today. We were able to pick away all day long and by the end of the day we put together a decent catch. The tuna were a mixed bag of 15-30lbers and the Wahoo were mostly in the 30-50lb class.
Our weather started out difficult this morning with a steady 20 knot breeze, but fortunately by sundown the wind backed all the way down to a comfortable 5 knots. Tonight we are making a move up the line to try for more tuna and hopefully some yellowtail as well. Wish us luck.

P.S. Lura and Sandra, I miss you both, looking forward to seeing you soon, Rich

yellows come through

Hello Everyone,
Fishing started out a little on the tough side this morning. Our weather picked up through the night and we woke up to partly cloudy skies and a stiff 18-20 knot breeze that continued all day long. We scratched our way throughout the morning and by lunch we put together mixed bag of Wahoo, tuna, and even a few Dorado to go with it. Fortunately our luck changed in the afternoon with a steady yellowtail bite that kept us busy all the way into dark. The yellows were all good size 15-20lbers with most of the fish coming on dropper loops and yo-yo jigs. Tomorrow morning we will be back on the prowl and hope to find some more biting fish. Wish us luck.
