Hi Gang,
We awoke this morning to nice weather and clear skies. Shortly after a breakfast of fried rice and eggs, captain Roy conducted the first tackle seminar of the trip. He covered the different leaders we will be useing for tuna and for fishing the kite. Shortly before lunch, we had a jigstrike and Stan Bonillas caught the first fish of the trip, an 18 lb. yellowtail. Overall we had a relaxing day of tackle prep, mostly rigging 130 lb. wind on leaders. We have two more travel days before we arrive to our destination.
