Good morning. We had another great day on the Royal Polaris. We had twenty Yellowfin tuna today, 5 of which were over 200, and an unbelievable 3 over 300!!! That's right! Thats not a typo, our weights were 225, 249, 258, 262, 267, 303, 325, and 333.
That brings our trip total to 20 over 200 and 7 over 300. The other tuna that did not make the 200 plus mark were also very beautiful fish with 3 more in the 190's. We know that seven 300's in a trip is a milestone in sportfishing history, one that we are hoping to surpass.
With 31/2 days to fish, we are hoping to get some more super cows and move into second place behind captain Steve Loomis, also set on the Royal Polaris. Thanks for checking in. The Royal Polaris crew.
