Hi folks;
Weather today was quite windy and a bit cold. We spent our morning looking for Albacore in the 150 to 200 miles south of San Diego area. Water is a beautiful blue, 62.7 to 63.0 degrees. Good bird life in many areas and good bait signs. Right now my guess is that it is a week or two early for the Albie's. The Bluefin will keep us busy till they arrive.
We will arrive at Fishermans landing at 07:00 hours, Sunday with a happy group of anglers and turn around and depart on a 5 day trip. Many thanks to the Shimano corporation for sponsoring another outstanding trip. Our anglers really enjoyed using their equipment and were convinced of how well it performed. Hottest lures on this trip were the butterfly lures and the Waxwing. Until tomorrow, the R/p crew (Frank, Dharyl, Eddie, Billy, Chris, Jonathan, Anthony, and James).
