Yummy Yellowtail

E-mail Print PDF
Hello everyone;

After a wonderful breakfast of French toast, we arrived Alijos Rocks. At ten o'clock a.m., the Yellowtail started biting! one after another they were tossed on board! Most fish were in the 18-22 lb, with a few in the 25-30 lb category. We had daily limits for all aboard.

We had a surprise for a few anglers with some Yellowfin tuna up to 80 lbs. Weather today was gorgeous , with flat seas and patchy clouds. We will give this another day and then decide what's next.

The kids are having a great time. Surprisingly, the kids did not take naps or breaks. They love the food and snacks, especially the Twinkie and Ding Dongs. A few kids could not get enough of those Otter Pops! They got to joke around and have a great time with the crew.

As I am typing, we are making a tank full of squid for bait for the kite. With that note, I will close for now, your special reporter, Lillian Rose.

P.S. tomorrow night's special reporter will be Hanna Hibbs
