Fun Filled Day (101711)

E-mail Print PDF
Hello everyone;

Weather today was foggy, flat seas, and a bit chilly for this area. Fishing today was good on mixed fish. We had 15 to 18 pound Yellowfin bitting in the morning, and 25 to 40 pound Bluefin in the afternoon. We caught Grouper, Dorado, Yellowtail, Trigger Fish, and Pargo. It was a potluck day of fishing. You didn't know what you might catch once you put a bait in the water. Most of the Grouper were caught on fly-lined baits.

With a few more days left to fish in this area, we are hoping that the Bluefin will bite again for us tomorrow. We made a tank of Scad Mackerel, hoping that will increase our Grouper count. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, the R/p crew.
