Our move paid off big today with an excellent day of fishing. We kept a slow pick going all day long on giant Yellowfin tuna. By days end we tallied up 7 brute tuna going over the two hundred pound mark, and several others ranging anywhere from 70-190lbs. Big fish honors went to George Iwashita who landed a gorgeous 291 lb Yellowfin. Bob Ramirez and Ken Kouchi had excellent days as well both collecting two nice fish a piece. Ken’s fish going 240lbs and 188lbs, and Bob’s fish going 213lbs and 201lbs.
Our weather today was absolutely glass calm perfection today, and we hope for more of the same tomorrow. We plan to stay anchored in the same spot overnight and hope to have some of today’s magic repeat itself tomorrow. Wish us luck.
