Yellowfin are boss (100810)

E-mail Print PDF
Hello everyone;

Weather has been about the same, 12 to 15 knots of breeze, clear skies, and a bit chilly today. We had a steady pick today, with most of the fish in the 65 to 80 pound range. Even though we had a steady pick, we ended our day with 30 Yellowfin, 2 Yellowtail, and 2 Amberjack. It was about 50/50 today, with the kite and fly-line sardine producing all the fish. We tried Mackerel and Squid, but no biters on either.

We are trying to make bait, but things are very slow, for now. We will give this another try tomorrow, the start making our way toward home. So wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our daily events. The R/p crew.
