We spent the last day of this trip along the coast hunting vermilion's and ling cods. The fishing was good, in fact better than this writer has quite awhile. Along with the reds and lings three cow cods made it over the rail. One of the reasons for this move was to try to get away from this unrelenting wind that has been pursuing us since we left Point Loma eight days ago.

With the cards stacked against us, this trip came away with limits of big yellowtail to 50 pounds, bluefin to 70 pounds and lots of reds and lings to add color to the wells.

Big Fish Happen,
Bruce A. Smith
