Today's fishing was slower overall. We stayed the night at the rocks proper tanked up on some bigger mackerel and scad, but the yellows didn't want to play in the dark. Once first light showed it was a slow pick at best on the 40 pound yellowfin and occasional yellowtail. Big Fish of the day and trip so far goes out to John Dornellas with a yellowfin that is pushing the 100 pound mark. John's fish ate a green mackerel fly-lined on 60 pound, good going John for keeping up the tradition of Big Bait, Big Fish! At 14:00(2:00) we took off for Cedros island. The wind has come up quite a bit and its making for a bumpy ride.
