As I prepare for my trip, I realize that over time and many trips, I have this portion down pat. However, through frantic phone calls and email messages, I see others don\'t. [br /]

Good article. I always have two little spiral notebooks on board, one in my room and one in a tackle box, to write down notes/observations/etc etc. I use these to add/delete stuff from one trip to the next.

Over the years I have developed an excell spreadsheet checklist..

It is a combination of many of the boats checklists, consolodated into a single document. I have everything I should bring on a trip and more..

I use it as I prepare for a trip... I have rods/reels, and most importantly, all of the extra little things that can make your trip more comforible.

If anyone wants a copy of my list, send me your e-mail and I will send it to you.. You can modify it to fit your needs..

I find my list changes after every trip... I add, delete etc...

I have seen this list and it is very intensive, And has EVERYTHING to remind you what you might want to bring. And yes sometimes it is the litlle things that make a differance.

Like Chapstick, everyone remembers sunscreen but someone allways forgets the chapstick
