    Tuf-line vs jb

I am not 100% sure but I think JB might be manufactured by Western filament to Jerry's spec.s. If so, does anyone know if Western Filaments Tuf-Line Guides Choice hollow is pretty much the same line as JB hollow? Given the choice, I would much prefer to buy JB and support a fellow fisherman but sometimes JB is not "off the shelf" available where I live. Since the dreaded local Bass Pro Shop sells Tuf-Line Guides Choice, it is easier to come by without placing an order over the internet. Just wondering if anyone knows if it is the same line. JB might be made by another company but there are only a few in the US that make spectra lines so I am assuming WF makes JB.
    Thanks.

    Don't know.
I'd certainly suspect it's the same.
What I DO know is I can call Jerry at 541-855-7127 and it will be at my house in three days, sometimes two, never been more than four. Call around 9am and it's often out the same day.

I live near los Angeles, I can't decide which Tackle shop to go into, let alone what to buy ( or NOT to buy rather!! ) once I get inside of one. I just don't realize that in some areas, a Saltwater fishing lover like me would kind of like be a FREAK in North Dakota. HA HA, aww who am I kidding, I'd be a freak just about everywhere, Right BRAN ??? As long as you can stand at the rail and turn the handle, we are all in the same boat !! Good to learn about what we are getting and from whence it came for our stimulating the fishing Industry economy. Made IN U.S.A. as much as reasonable.
It's gonna be a long ride back home...

Jerry does not survive on his spectra business. Guide's Choice is close to Jerry's specs. and priced comparable. It is as simple as what product you like.

Soft Steel mono is produced in Italy to Soft Steel's requirement and a Soft Steel sticker is put on. Izorline Flurocarbon was or still is made by Mitsubishi. There are only 3 companys that are making Flurocarbon, none in the USA. Find out where Izor mono is made....

The gas you buy, you really should do some serious research where it comes from if you do not like sending money out of the USA. Bottom line is every business will be a business and that is to aquire what it takes to get the best product made for the least amount of money, your money.

Heck even Ford's CEO and world headquarters is in Great Britian.

Hard to look at a F150 commercial with a cowboy in it selling you a truck without grinning.
